Dev Team

Build and ship a real product with a small NYU engineering team and a high-growth startup.

Reach Out

Overview

Selected students work in teams of 2-3 on a defined project, such as a prototype, internal tool, or end-to-end build. The program runs like a part-time internship, with regular standups, mentor check-ins, and technical guidance from Dev Team leads. Teams present their work to the tech@nyu community at the end of the semester.

Outcomes

Build and ship

Experience scoping, building, and shipping on a startup timeline.

Learn with engineers

Mentorship from a startup engineer and technical support from Dev Team leads. Practice in system design, peer feedback, and presenting technical work to a general audience.

Grow your opportunities

A shipped project for your portfolio or resume and a community of fellow engineers. Potential consideration for an internship or full-time role with a partner.
